Determined to do things differently the second time around, Aggie took action. She created a game for new parents to help them stay connected through the chaos of early parenthood. What began as a personal solution quickly resonated with others. Within a week of its launch, the game was fully funded on Kickstarter- proof that many couples are quietly struggling and seeking support. Research from Relationships Australia shows many couples struggle during the transition to parenthood. A 2021 study found that 20% break up within the first year, and relationship satisfaction often declines over the first 10 years. Common stressors include unmet expectations, differing values, financial strain, and uneven division of chores. 'Usapang Parental' is SBS Filipino's segment on parenting. It features the stories of migrant families, parenting issues, raising kids, and parenting tips and advice from experts.
