Atlanta police are investigating an attempted robbery in which a man was stabbed. On Sunday, at approximately 8:38 p.m., officers responded to a report of a person stabbed near the Garnett MARTA Station at 232 Forsyth Street SW. Police believe the 38-year-old victim was walking through an alleyway near 221 Peachtree Street when two people approached him, attempted to rob him, and then stabbed him. Investigators with the Aggravated Assault Unit responded to the scene, and their investigation continues. Atlanta police investigating shooting after victim shows up at fire station with gunshot wounds

At approximately 10:05 p.m. on Monday, officers responded to Atlanta Fire Rescue Station #22 located at 855 Hollywood Road NW to reports of a person being shot. When they arrived, they found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds to his right arm and back. The man was taken to the hospital for treatment. Police say the shooting happened at 1960 Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway NW and then the man went to the fire station for medical assistance. APD asks public to submit photos, videos of Lit Lounge shooting
AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Police Department's Aggravated Assault Unit detectives on Wednesday requested the public to submit any photos or videos it may have in connection with a shooting at the Lit Lounge that happened on March 30 around 1 a.m. APD said officers responded to the shooting, located near Sixth and Brazos Streets, and when arriving on the scene, they found four individuals with gunshot wounds who confirmed they were shot inside the nightclub. PREVIOUS COVERAGE: 4 injured in shooting near 6th Street; APD says no suspect in custody 'The first officer on scene applied pressure to the wound, and within a minute, the rescue task force was there to apply a chest seal and then pressure to the entrance wound,' said APD said during a media briefing. 'That's when we got multiple more calls saying that there were more victims inside a club on Sixth Street.' Anyone with information about the investigation is asked to contact APD's Aggravated Assault Unit at 512-974-5245. Investigators with the Atlanta Police Department are asking for the public's help with identifying two people connected to a shooting. On Feb. 24, at approximately 8:08 p.m., officers were flagged down near 1820 Hollywood Road NW, where someone reported a shooting. The victim, a 16-year-old boy, was conscious and breathing and was taken to a nearby hospital. Investigators with the Aggravated Assault Unit responded to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Anyone with information on this shooting can submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477, online at or by texting CSGA and the tip to 738477. Anonymous tipsters are eligible for a reward of up to $5,000 for the arrest and indictment of the suspects.
