Since joining Selangor in 2021 from Accra Lions, Agyarkwa has played 64 times and provided 11 assists. However, he is still searching for his first professional goal in Malaysia.
Asked about the possibility of playing for Harimau Malaya as a naturalised player, Agyarkwa said there have been discussions.
"Things are in process, I'm waiting to see what happens."
On representing Malaysia, he said: "If the opportunity is there, why not? I'll grab it and prove myself."
However, Agyarkwa's career this season has not been straightforward as he spent most of his time with the Selangor II team. But he said this does not reflect his true capabilities.
"It was not my decision to play for the second team. But my performance was maybe down. I'm not a second team player, and I think next season I will not be playing for the second team," he added.
Reflecting on the season, Agyarkwa admitted he has been from his best, but he remains determined to bounce back.
