Foreign ministers of Egypt, Sudan, the UAE, and the Comoros arrive in Baghdad
Baghdad-INA The foreign ministers of Egypt, Sudan, the UAE, and the Comoros arrived in Baghdad on Wednesday to participate in the Arab Foreign Ministers' meeting in preparation for the Arab Summit. A statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Ati arrived in Baghdad to participate in the meeting of the Council of Arab Foreign Ministers, which is being held in Baghdad in preparation for the upcoming Arab Summit." The statement added, "Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Nayef Rashid Al-Dulaimi, received Al-Ati upon his arrival at Baghdad International Airport, expressing Iraq's "welcome to his participation in this important Arab event." Furthermore, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Administrative and Technical Affairs, Ahmed Nayef Rashid Al-Dulaimi, received the Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Khalifa Shaheen Al-Marar, upon his arrival at Baghdad International Airport on Wednesday. Al-Dulaimi welcomed the Emirati minister, emphasizing "the depth of the fraternal relations between Iraq and the UAE, and Baghdad's keenness to strengthen bilateral cooperation to serve the common interests of the two brotherly countries." In the same context, Ahmed Nayef Rashid Al-Dulaimi, received the Acting Sudanese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hussein Al-Amin Al-Fadhil, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Comoros, Mbaye Mohamed Mbaye, upon their arrival at Baghdad International Airport. Al-Dulaimi emphasized "the depth of relations between Iraq, both Sudan and the Comoros, and Baghdad's aspiration to enhance joint cooperation in various fields." Accordıng to the statement "This visit comes as part of our participation in the meeting of the Council of Arab Foreign Ministers, which is being held in preparation for the upcoming Arab Summit in Baghdad on the 17th of this month."

Foreign Minister discusses the latest preparations for the upcoming Arab Summit
Baghdad-INA Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Hussein, discussed today, Thursday, the latest preparations for the upcoming Arab Summit, while appreciating the efforts made by the technical and logistical committees and the continuous work to ensure the success of this important event. The ministry stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Hussein, chaired today the eleventh meeting dedicated to completing the final arrangements for the upcoming Arab Summit," indicating that "the meeting witnessed the attendance of a number of ministers and high-level officials, including the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning, the Minister of Interior, and the Minister of Culture, in addition to the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ahmed Nayef Rashid Al-Dulaimi, the Mayor of Baghdad, and representatives of the relevant ministries and bodies." The ministry added that "the meeting included a comprehensive review of the latest preparations for the summit, with discussion of the items on the agenda, in addition to examining various organizational aspects, including the technical and logistical readiness of the summit venues and delegation reception centers, as well as security and media arrangements." MOFA continued that "the meeting stressed the importance of coordinating efforts between the relevant parties to ensure that the summit is organized according to the highest standards, reflecting Iraq's status and active role in its Arab environment." Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Hussein, praised "the efforts made by the technical and logistical committees," appreciating "the continuous work to ensure the success of this important event."
