MET Eireann chiefs warned there's a big switch on the way with 'unsettled' conditions - as we reach the longest day of the year. Over €33,000 raised to bring young Wexford man who died in Australia home – ‘Hayden's journey ended too soon'
Hayden had been living in Australia for over nine years and the GoFundMe was set up by Christopher Murphy on behalf of Hayden's partner Ailish, in the hope of receiving support during this difficult time. "Hayden's sudden passing has left us all heartbroken and struggling to come to terms with the loss. Hayden's journey ended too soon, and we are committed to honouring his memory and supporting his loved ones,' he wrote. 'We are fundraising to help cover the costs of bringing Hayden back home to Ireland, where he can rest in peace surrounded by the love of his family and friends. Your generous contributions will not only help alleviate the financial burden on Hayden's family but also allow them to focus on healing and remembering the beautiful moments they shared with him.' "Every donation, no matter the size, will make a significant difference and is deeply appreciated. Thank you for your kindness and support. Together, we can help Hayden's family find some solace and ensure he is laid to rest with the dignity and love he deserves,' he continued. With an original goal of $30,000 Australian dollars, the online fundraiser has amassed $59,381 Australian dollars since it was created on Monday, May 19. Hayden's funeral is set to take place in St Aidan's Cathedral on Monday, June 2 at 11.30 and can be viewed online. Cherished son of Aisling Doran (née Kelly) and James Kelly, much loved stepson of Pat Doran, dearly loved brother of Shauna, Zoe and Aaron and step-brother of Shane and Emma, loving partner of Ailish and adored grandson of Ann and the late Michael and J.P and the late Sadie. he will be sadly missed by his aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, relatives and his many friends in Australia and Ireland.
