Saif bin Zayed honors members of MOI Air Wing who saved lives of nine people after their ship capsized at sea

Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior, has honoured members of the Air Wing Department at the General Directorate of Security Support at the Ministry of Interior for their outstanding efforts and in appreciation of their courage and dedication in performing their national and humanitarian duty.H.H. Sheikh Saif presented medals of professional excellence to the members, including pilots, navigators, and air traffic controllers, who contributed to the rescue and air search operation, saving the lives of nine Asians who were involved in an accident after their ship capsized near Al Hamriyah Port in Sharjah. This came as a rapid response from the Air Wing's medical and air crews, immediately upon receiving the report from the relevant authorities. They demonstrated proficiency and competence through rescue and support operations in the sea, using aircraft. The operation took two hours, including a meticulously executed search and rescue operation, with high efficiency and precision. The nine people were rescued without any injuries.

Emirati man airlifted to hospital following an accident in Sharjah
Air ambulance crews from the Air Wing Department at the General Directorate of Security Support at the Ministry of Interior were able to save life of a 20-year-old Emirati national who had sustained moderate injuries in a motorbike accident in the Al Rafada area, Sharjah. The Air Wing Department's operations room was notified by the Sharjah Police of an incident in which an individual had sustained injuries in an accident and required air transportation to a medical facility for treatment. In response to this request, the Air Wing Department promptly initiated an air ambulance operation, transporting the injured individual to Al Dhaid Hospital for the provision of requisite medical care.

UAE: Woman injured in bike accident in Sharjah airlifted to hospital
A 51-year-old woman, who sustained severe head injuries in a motorcycle accident, was airlifted to a hospital. The emergency evacuation was carried out by the air ambulance crews of the Air Wing Department in the General Directorate of Security Support at the Ministry of Interior. The accident involving the European expat took place in Sharjah s Al Badayer area. The evacuation operation was initiated after the Air Wing's Operations Room was intimated about the accident from the General Command of Sharjah Police. The woman was promptly airlifted to Al Dhaid Hospital for necessary medical treatment.

UAE authorities airlift 3 passengers in separate motorcycle incidents
Three people have been airlifted to hospital following three separate motorcycle incidents in Sharjah, in the space of 24 hours, the UAE's Ministry of Interior confirmed. "The incidents involved two Emirati citizens and a European woman who sustained severe injuries in separate traffic accidents, requiring urgent air evacuation. In the first operation, a 31-year-old European woman was injured in a nighttime motorcycle accident in the Al Badayer desert area of Sharjah."
