The ceremony featured a documentary video highlighting the festival's achievements and key milestones and showcasing its major activities and the strong public engagement across Sharjah's shopping markets and malls. Financial advantages Abdul Aziz Al Shamsi said that the success of Sharjah Shopping Promotions is driven by the strategic collaboration with key partners, delivering tangible economic benefits to the retail sector while also fostering social cohesion and highlighting Emirati heritage and cultural values. He noted that the Sharjah Ramadan Festival stands out as one of the most prominent events in the annual calendar, offering a strong economic stimulus and engaging a wide consumer base through substantial discounts and prize offerings totaling approximately AED 1 million. Serving the community In his address, Jamal Bouzanjal extended a warm welcome to the attendees and underscored that the success of the 35th edition of the Sharjah Ramadan Festival is a testament to the robust strategic partnerships established by the Sharjah Chamber with public and private entities. He highlighted the festival's role as a key economic initiative that serves the community through promotional commercial campaigns, which offer significant discounts across a wide range of brands and products, significantly increasing visitor footfall and drawing consumers from within Sharjah and beyond. Performance metrics Aisha Saleh delivered a comprehensive presentation highlighting Sharjah Ramadan Festival 2025's key events as well as the high-performance indicators and record-breaking figures achieved by the festival which ran for 38 days from February 22 to March 31. She outlined the Sharjah Chamber's broader strategy for various promotional campaigns, including Sharjah Summer Promotions, Sharjah Shopping Promotions, and Sharjah Ramadan Festival, all of which contribute to not only strengthening the emirate's position as a leading economic and tourism destination but also preserving and promoting the authentic Emirati heritage. Ceremony for closure and certificates of recognition At the conclusion of the ceremony, recognition certificates and commemorative plaques were presented to the Chamber's strategic partners from both the public and private sectors. The Chamber also unveiled its comprehensive promotional strategy, aimed at sustaining economic momentum in Sharjah's retail and tourism sectors year-round. This includes the upcoming edition of "Sharjah Summer Promotions', set to launch in July, and Sharjah Shopping Promotions, all designed to promote a sustainable approach to supporting the business community and enhancing commercial and tourism activity in the emirate.
