Liverpool See €70M-Rated Manchester City, PSG Target as Possible Mo Salah Sucessor

Maghnes Akliouche could be on the move this summer, with PSG, Manchester City, and Liverpool all showing strong interest in the AS Monaco midfielder. Liverpool Have Strong Interest in Manchester City, PSG TargetCaughtOffside reports that Maghnes Akliouche is valued between £50.2 million and £58.6 million, and Monaco are open to letting him leave if an offer in that range comes in. The report also says Liverpool have a strong interest in the 22-year-old, and a move to Anfield could tempt Akliouche as he looks to take the next step in his career. Monaco are said to prefer a move to the Premier League over the risk of losing him to PSG, who have been monitoring him closely. The reigning Ligue 1 champions' interest has raised concerns within the club about a potential switch to the capital. This month, 90min France reported that Manchester City and PSG have intensified their pursuit, making a summer move seem more probable. Monaco are willing to sell and have set their asking price at approximately €70 million. Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is a big fan of Akliouche. The Frenchman brings versatility, dribbling, and left-footed skill. Furthermore, he's seen as a potential replacement for Bernardo Silva.

However, due to the complexity of that potential deal, the club is keeping an eye on alternatives such as Marcus Rashford. Eliesse Ben Seghir and Maghnes Akliouche on Barcelona's radar In addition to those high-profile targets, other, more affordable options are also being considered by the club. According to Gol (h/t Mundo Deportivo), Barcelona are keeping a close eye on two exciting young wingers from AS Monaco – Eliesse Ben Seghir and Maghnes Akliouche. Man Utd and Man City dealt blow as £59m star makes surprising claim on future

Monaco star Maghnes Akliouche was asked about his future amid interest from Manchester City, Manchester United and PSG and offered a surprising response ahead of the summer Maghnes Akliouche could remain at Monaco despite interest from both Manchester City and Manchester United this summer. The 23-year-old has revealed he hopes to stay with the Monegasques for next season in a blow to the Premier League clubs. Akliouche has drawn interest after bagging five goals and providing 10 assists in Ligue 1 this season, in addition to two goals and two assists in the Champions League. The winger has helped Monaco's bid to qualify for Europe's top competition once again, cementing at leat a third-placed finish domestically. ‌ The Frenchman was the subject of interest from Paris Saint-Germain, as well as City, almost 12 months ago but chose to sign a contract extension instead, committing to the club until 2028. The duo are said to retain their interest with United now also impressed by the player. ‌ But Akliouche appears content in Monaco and plans to stay at the club beyond the summer. The attacker is thought to be available for €70million (£57m) however. 'I am under contract at Monaco and I hope that I will be here next season, why not?,' he said. Monaco CEO Thiago Scuro was adamant potential suitors would not have an easy time prising away the star. Speaking to Téléfoot earlier this year, he appeared set to drive a hard bargain. "It is logical that clubs are interested in him. He is a Monaco player and it won't be easy to take him out of here," he said. Manager Adi Hütter has conceded the possibility of losing Akliouche however. The Austrian head coach conceded it is the philosophy of the club to capitalise upon their talent and he is excited for where his charge's career could lead. ‌ 'I am encouraged to see where he (Akliouche) can go. For me, we don't know what happens. If we lose him in the summer, we lose him in the summer,' he said last month. " This is also the club's strategy to bring in young talents from its own academy to the first team an then at one point to sell them – this is the club's plan and it is a good one! This is the process as a coach. I want to follow (Akliouche). This is the history of the club and I like it!' City and United will both look to strengthen their squads in the summer following disappointing seasons. Pep Guardiola's side look set to qualify for the Champions League but have been noticeably absent from the title race. Ruben Amorim meanwhile will oversee his first summer in charge. A disastrous Premier League campaign has seen United's only chance of qualifying for Europe come by finding Europa League success if they defeat Tottenham.

Man City Face Major PSG Battle for €70M-Rated Bernardo Silva Replacement Amid Man Utd Interest

AS Monaco's Maghnes Akliouche could be on the move this summer transfer window. The Frenchman is on several clubs' radars, and Paris Saint-Germain's new philosophy of pursuing young French talent is in the mix for the 23-year-old. L'Équipe reported last month that Manchester United entered the race to sign Akliouche, joining rivals Manchester City in pursuing the Monaco standout. Advertisement A summer exit appears likely, with Monaco valuing the midfielder between €70 million and €80 million. Despite the high asking price, interest remains strong from Manchester City, PSG, and now United. What's the latest on Maghnes Akliouche? JEAN-CHRISTOPHE VERHAEGEN/AFP via Getty Images On Friday, 90min France reported that the midfielder has attracted strong interest from Manchester City and PSG, with a summer move looking increasingly likely. Monaco are open to selling and have set an asking price of around €70 million. Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is said to be a big admirer of Akliouche's skill set—particularly his versatility, left-footed ability, and dribbling—and views him as a potential successor to Bernardo Silva. City reportedly made an approach during the winter window, but Monaco were not willing to sell midseason. Advertisement PSG are also in the mix, though their approach has been more reserved. The French champions have been in contact with Akliouche's camp for several weeks but have yet to make a formal move with Monaco. For now, PSG remain focused on finishing their season before diving fully into the transfer market. While a transfer seems likely, there's still a chance Akliouche stays put. If Monaco qualify for the Champions League, the midfielder—under contract through 2028—could be convinced to remain for another season.
