‘First marriage ended in divorce, second husband died and now in a live-in relationship,' reveals Anju Aravind

Having played notable supporting roles in several superhit films across various South Indian languages — thus sharing the screen with superstars like Mohanlal, Mammootty, and even Rajinikanth — Anju Aravind remains a beloved actor for the Malayali population. A skilled dancer as well, Anju has also appeared in numerous television serials, further cementing her place in the hearts of the public. Recently, Anju got candid about her personal life, revealing the many tragedies she faced, particularly in her love life. In a recent interview, she shared that although she tried her luck at marriage twice, both relationships ended in tragedy. While she divorced her first husband, her second husband passed away shortly after their union. Anju also revealed that she has been in a live-in relationship for the past five years and expressed happiness with how it has been progressing. 'My first marriage ended in divorce. I had a second marriage, but my husband passed away. I am currently in a live-in relationship. My partner's name is Sanjay Ambala Parambath. We've been living together happily for the past five years. He is the one who gave me my identity as a dance teacher in Bengaluru. Sanjay was my first crush, back when I was in Class 8. Our story could be made into a movie,' she shared during a chat with Aval Vikatan. Anju continued, 'We both love the movie 96 (helmed by C Prem Kumar and featuring Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha Krishnan) that we watched together. Watching that film reminded me of my school days. He is also a dancer. He used to work in the IT sector but is now retired. We first met at a dance class. Back then, there were no mobile phones, so we went our separate ways. But we eventually found our way back to each other. He was the one who named my dance academy in Bengaluru. It's called the Anju Aravind Academy of Dance.' She has a daughter named Anvika, a Plus One (11th grade) student. After making her debut in Sibi Malayil's Aksharam, starring Suresh Gopi and Annie in the lead roles, Anju Aravind went on to appear in several prominent films across various South Indian languages, including Mammootty's Azhakiya Ravanan and Sidhartha, Mohanlal's Naran, Rajinikanth's Arunachalam, 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Poove Unakkaga, Shivarajkumar's Janumadatha and Jayaram's Swapna Lokathe Balabhaskaran.
