The scientific stream started their exams with mathematics, while the literary section's first exam is French. The Ministry of Education has finalized all necessary preparations and arrangements to provide a conducive and regulated environment for students. In a statement, the ministry urged students to work diligently and remain persistent to achieve the best possible results. The exams will conclude on June 22 for the scientific section and June 23 for the literary section. Students walk to their assigned exam halls ahead of their first final exam on Wednesday. Students check their assigned seat numbers at the school on the morning of their first exam. Dr Ahmed Al-Majidi, Acting Director of the Educational Capital Region, told KUNA that 199 national supervisors have been assigned to oversee the exam committees to ensure transparency and integrity. He explained that these committees operate strictly in accordance with regulations and submit reports to the Ministry's Audit and Inspection Office. During an inspection tour of exam committees on Wednesday, Dr Al-Majidi confirmed the smooth progress of the exams. He noted that the 42,417 students are distributed among 179 committees across six educational regions, with 28,833 students in the scientific section and 13,584 in the literary section. — KUNA

KUWAI CITY, June 11: Final exams for twelfth-grade students in both the science and literature sections began Wednesday morning for the second semester of the 2024–2025 academic year, with more than 42,000 students participating across Kuwait. Acting Director of the Capital Educational District, Dr. Ahmad Al-Majidi, confirmed that 199 national observers have been deployed to oversee the examination process. Their participation aims to enhance transparency and integrity within the committees, which function in accordance with the rules and regulations established by the Ministry of Education. The observers are also responsible for submitting detailed reports to the Audit and Inspection Office. During an inspection tour of several examination committees, Dr. Al-Majidi noted that 28,833 students are enrolled in the science section and 13,584 in the literature section. These students are distributed across 179 committees throughout the six educational districts. He added that the first exam for the science section is mathematics, while literature students began with French. The Ministry of Education has completed all necessary preparations to ensure an appropriate and supportive examination environment for students, in line with applicable systems and regulations. The ministry urged students to study hard and remain committed to achieving the best possible results. Exams for the science section are scheduled to conclude on June 22, while exams for the literature section will end on June 23.
