Maariv: Israel is international pariah, faces diplomatic tsunami
Jaffa – Saba: The Hebrew newspaper Maariv, published in the Zionist entity, acknowledged on Wednesday that Israel has become an international pariah and is facing a "diplomatic tsunami" in light of the ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip. The newspaper directed its criticism at ministers in the Israeli enemy government, saying that Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar, who "clings to his positions, fails to grasp the magnitude of the crisis Israel is heading toward," according to the Lebanese Al-Mayadeen channel's website. It noted that Transportation Minister Miri Regev refuses to acknowledge that Israel is under an air blockade, "and that it is likely that a naval blockade will soon reach that level as well." It added, "As part of the criticism, Education Minister Yoav Kisch is preoccupied with political conflicts regarding Tel Aviv University, rather than addressing the growing international academic boycott." The newspaper emphasized the "disastrous failure of US President Donald Trump's tour of the region," during which Israel was marginalized on many issues. In the context of the newspaper's discussion of Israel's isolation, it stated that pressure is clear from Europe, Canada, and the United States to end the aggression. The newspaper noted that the criminal Prime Minister of the enemy, Benjamin Netanyahu, received a "red card" from the Supreme Court. It explained that the court's judges disqualified Netanyahu and his government at all levels, ruling that Netanyahu was in a conflict of interest in the investigation when he attempted to dismiss Shin Bet Director Ronen Bar. South Lebanon under fire: Israeli drones conduct multiple attacks
Shafaq News/ Israeli drones carried out a series of strikes across southern Lebanon on Saturday, targeting the outskirts of multiple towns, local media reported. According to Al-Mayadeen, an Israeli drone strike hit the vicinity of Talouseh, while another targeted the town of Qabrikha. Separately, a drone dropped several stun grenades near the outskirts of Markaba. No casualties have been reported in the attacks. The Israeli military has not issued any official statement regarding the strikes. The Israeli-Lebanese conflict, which escalated into a full-scale war on September 23, 2024, began with Israeli military operations launched on October 8, 2023, in parallel with the war in Gaza. According to Lebanese authorities, the conflict has resulted in 4,115 deaths and 16,909 injuries—mostly among women and children—and displaced approximately 1.4 million people. Under the ceasefire agreement, Israel was required to fully withdraw from southern Lebanon by February 18, 2025. However, the Israeli military has only completed a partial pullout and continues to occupy five strategic positions. Israel has justified its continued presence by citing what it calls the Lebanese army's failure to assume full security responsibilities along the Blue Line, the demarcation line between the two countries. Israel has reportedly breached the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon over 3,000 times since it went into effect in November 2024.

Israel puts forwards its conditions for ceasefire in Gaza
A Hamas leader on Monday revealed the most important points of Israel's conditions for a ceasefire and hostage exchange. The Al-Mayadeen news website reported the leader, whose name was not given, as saying that the proposal stipulates the release of nine Israeli hostages, amongst them the Israeli-American soldier Edan Alexander. The proposal includes a 45-day cessation of hostilities, the opening of crossings, and the entry of aid – all subject to Israel's conditions. The proposal also includes the redeployment of the Israeli army to its pre-March 2 status, which requires the withdrawal of the Israeli army to the positions it held before the resumption of fighting. He added that the proposal calls for entering the second phase of negotiations, which includes a permanent ceasefire, withdrawal, disarming of Hamas' weapons, and ceding administration of Gaza. The Hamas leader emphasized that the Israeli proposal 'aims to disarm Hamas and ensure it does not return to governing Gaza.' The leader therefore announced that Hamas views Israel's proposal to be insufficient to meet its basic demands for a permanent ceasefire and a complete withdrawal from the Gaza Strip. 'The Israeli proposal does not guarantee a ceasefire and is gradually removing the hostage card from Hamas's hands.' The Hamas leader added that the movement, 'Has not responded to the Israeli proposal and is currently studying it.'
