Deputy Commander of Joint Operations inspects security units in al-Tarmiya district
The Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, Qais al-Mohammadawi, on Monday inspected security units in al-Tarmiya district.
"Lieutenant General Qais al-Mohammadawi, Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, visited al-Tarmiya district, north of the capital Baghdad," the command said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
According to the statement, the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations conveyed "greetings and salutations of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed Shi'a al-Sudani, to the security units present in this sector of the Iraqi army, police and popular mobilization units."
Al-Mohammadawi praised "the great efforts exerted by the security forces in pursuing the remaining elements of the defeated ISIS terrorist gangs," praising "their distinguished security and intelligence work that has resulted in the clear stability and stability in Tarmiya district and other areas."
Al-Mohammadawi directed "continued cooperation with citizens who have played a major role in supporting the work of the security services," stressing "working in a team spirit and carrying out tasks and duties according to the approved contexts within the precise specialization."
The Deputy Commander of Joint Operations listened to "a brief explanation of the most important duties carried out by the security units and intelligence departments within the area of responsibility."
