Sharjah: New initiative to make students job-ready as they graduate

The Sharjah Capacity Development Foundation announced the launch of the 'Masar' initiative during a press conference held today, which empowers Emirati youth to enter the job market, specifically the private sector, with confidence through specialized training programs targeting fresh graduates and university students. The event also saw participation from sister institutions including Sharjah Children, Sharjah Youth, and Sajaya Young Women of Sharjah, alongside specialized centers affiliated with the Quarter Century Foundation. Strategic partnerships signed Strategic agreements were signed at the conference with leading institutions including Al Batha Holding Group, National Sukuk Group, H3C Company, Sharjah National Oil Corporation, and the College of Business Administration at the American University of Sharjah. These partnerships aim to provide quality training opportunities that enable young people to gain real-world experience in diverse professional work environments. Sheikh Saud bin Sultan Al Qasimi said, "The 'Masar' initiative represents an exemplary model in preparing youth for the next stage of their professional lives, combining quality training, guidance, and skills building." Sheikha Jawahir bint Abdullah Al Qasimi stated, "The 'Masar' initiative is one of the fruits of our integrated vision in creating future leaders, providing youth with practical opportunities that enhance their readiness for the job market." Khalid Ibrahim Al Nakhi, Director of Sharjah Capacity Development Foundation, explained, "Through the 'Masar' initiative, we work to create an integrated environment that contributes to honing skills and building professional character among the rising generation." Mohammed Qasim Al Ali, CEO of National Sukuk Group, said, "We will work to support young people in acquiring knowledge and skills that enhance their readiness to enter the job market, especially in the private sector." The conference included a dialogue session titled 'From Ambition to Empowerment,' bringing together experts and academics to discuss the importance of practical training and professional guidance in preparing youth for the job market. Sharjah Capacity Development Foundation The Sharjah Capacity Development Foundation, affiliated with the Quarter Century Foundation for Leaders and Innovators, aims to empower and prepare youth for the future through quality programmes that focus on building leadership skills and developing professional capabilities, in line with Sharjah's vision of preparing an innovative and influential generation.
