A Grand Stage for Arabian Excellence
This year's championship has drawn 124 exceptional horses from eight nations, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt, Brazil, Poland, Switzerland, and Uruguay. Over three days, these majestic creatures compete across six championship classes: Yearling Female, Junior Female, Senior Female, Yearling Male, Junior Male, and Senior Male.
Adding to the prestige of this year's edition is the participation of four former World Champions, heightening the level of competition and ensuring a thrilling contest until the very end.
Ziad Galadari, Chairman of the Championship's Organising Committee, emphasized the significance of this year's event coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan, making it a truly special occasion for competitors and spectators alike.
'The presence of world champions has raised the bar, making this edition one of the most competitive and exciting in recent history,' Galadari remarked.
A Legacy of Passion and Prestige
Established in 2003 under the patronage of the late Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the DIAHC has grown into one of the most prestigious Arabian horse shows in the world. Sheikh Hamdan's visionary dream was to create a championship that would not only honour the beauty and elegance of the Arabian horse but also position it among the most distinguished equestrian events globally.
Beyond the competition, the championship serves as a living tribute to the centuries-old legacy of Arabian horse breeding, showcasing the tireless dedication of breeders, trainers, and enthusiasts who continue to uphold and elevate the Arabian horse's esteemed lineage.
