Al Fursan Tournament concludes with strength challenge and cycling races

The Al Fursan Sports Tournament concluded with the completion of the strength challenge and cycling competitions at the Bahrain Endurance Village. The strength challenge, held over two days, featured intense competition among participants and drew a large crowd of spectators. The strength challenge concluded with a ceremony honouring the winners. In the women's category, Team NK secured first place, followed by CFR Ladies in second, and Team Dhahi and Team Sky is the Limit sharing third place. In the men's category, Team CrossFit Riffa emerged victorious after a fierce competition, with Team RIJ taking second place and the Royal Guard (1) team finishing third. Hassan Al Sharif and Hussein Al Sharif from Al Sharif Group, the tournament's gold sponsor, presented the awards to the winners. The cycling competitions, the final events of the Al Fursan Sports Tournament, featured races for both men and women. The men's race covered a distance of 68 kilometers, while the women's race spanned 34 kilometers. Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Cycling Federation, presented the awards to the top finishers. In the men's category, Ahmed Nasser Ahmed took first place, followed by Ahmed Abdulghani Madan in second, and Hussein Mohammed in third. Mohammed Al Qais won the citizen's category, with Salman Hussein Mohammed and Hassan Madan finishing second and third, respectively. In the women's category, Olga Korvet secured first place, followed by Emma Baker in second, and Jessie Behan in third. In the youth category, Thamer Aqeel won first place, with Sayed Abdullah Ali Abdullah and Nawaf Abdulaziz finishing second and third, respectively.

Al Fursan Sports Tournament concludes teqball competition

The Al Fursan Sports Tournament continued at the Bahrain Endurance Village, featuring a range of competitions across various sports. The tournament's teqball competition concluded with Team Jassam, comprising Jassim Anan and Falah Abbas, securing first place after defeating Team Alia Centre in straight sets. Team Ninja finished in third place. Fares Al-Kooheji, Secretary-General of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, and Viktor Denis Hozar, President of the International Teqball Federation, presented the winning teams with their medals. The gold, silver, and bronze medals were awarded to the top three teams. The beach soccer competition will conclude on Wednesday evening, with the final match taking place at the Bahrain Endurance Village. The semi-final matches were held on Tuesday. Additionally, the padel tennis competitions continue at The Pink Padel courts in Al Hunainiya. Viktor Denis Hozar, President of the International Teqball Federation, expressed his satisfaction with the tournament's organization and praised the event for promoting new sports. He noted that teqball is a relatively new sport in Bahrain but will be featured in the upcoming Asian Youth Games. He hopes to see many young Bahraini athletes participating Winners celebrate in the podium in the competition.
