Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has approved an additional amount of AED100m ($27.2m) in compensation for owners of old houses in Al Madam area who had previously been granted new houses.

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has approved an additional amount of AED100 million in compensation for owners of old houses in Al Madam area who had previously been granted new houses. His Highness had earlier approved an amount of AED250,000 per house as compensation for the owners of 200 old houses that were replaced with new houses. With the approval of the new additional amount, the total compensation for each house now rises to AED750,000, an added support from His Highness to families who have moved into their new houses.

Sharjah Ruler approved, on Monday, Dh100 million to compensate owners of old homes in the Al Madam area who had previously been compensated with new homes. Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, had previously approved a sum of Dh250,000 for each of the 200 owners whose old homes were replaced. With the additional approved amount, the total compensation for each family will rise to Dh750,000.

SSC to launch Emirate's Youth Football League on Friday
The tournament regulations stipulate that each team must feature 16 players, all Emirati citizens born in 2016/2017, and all conditions outlined in the tournament rules will apply. The top two teams from each group will qualify, and the top four teams will be awarded trophies and medals. The first round will kick off with four matches, all starting at 5 PM. In Group A, Sharjah "A" will face Sharjah "B" at Al Hazana Club, while Al Madam will visit Al Bataeh. In Group B, Mleiha will host Dibba Al Hisn, and Al Dhaid will play against Khorfakkan at home. Ibrahim Saif bin Ghafan, Acting Director of Sports Affairs and Development, noted that the youth league presents a great opportunity for all participating teams to showcase high-level performances, enhancing the tournament's value and allowing players to reveal their talents. He emphasized that the Council's ongoing support and collaboration with club officials will lead to an ideal organization of this year's tournament.

Police team named Al Dhaid's Ramadan Volleyball champion
