Sultanate of Oman participates in Gulfood 2025

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by 'Madayn,' is participating in the 30th edition of Gulfood 2025, one of the world's largest annual food and beverage sourcing events at the Dubai World Trade Centre in the United Arab Emirates, with over 129 countries joining the exhibition. Khalid al Salehi, Director General of Marketing and Commercial Affairs at Madayn, said Madayn's strategic focus in Gulfood 2025 is on attracting and localizing foreign investments in Oman's thriving food sector. 'On the sidelines of Gulfood 2025, Madayn is organizing an event targeting CEOs, investors, and industrialists interested in expanding their businesses or launching new projects in the Sultanate's food sector. The event will showcase the diverse opportunities available in the food sector within Madayn's industrial cities across the Sultanate's governorates, while a discussion session will bring together Omani and international experts to spotlight strategies for food security, resilience, and innovation in sustainable food solutions,' stated Al Salehi. Madayn has coordinated with the SMEs Development Authority to provide a dedicated space for non-exhibiting Omani entrepreneurs to connect and meet with investors and business leaders attending the event. Additionally, Madayn has provided a platform for many entrepreneurs who graduated from the 'Industrial Innovation Specialist' program in the Food and Beverage (F&B) industry, implemented by the Industrial Innovation Academy in Sur and Raysut Industrial Cities. Their presence at Gulfood 2025 offers a valuable opportunity to showcase their products on a global stage, thereby enhancing their visibility and supporting long-term sustainability. 'This long-standing presence opens new doors for Omani businesses, enabling them to access international markets and showcase their high-quality offerings to thousands of visitors and over 5,500 global exhibitors. The increasing demand for Omani products in recent years, both locally and internationally, highlights their growing appeal and competitiveness,' he added. Gulfood 2025, now in its 30th edition, is the largest in the event's history, featuring 24 exhibition halls for the first time and covering more than one million square feet. Gulfood is renowned for bringing together industry leaders and offering unparalleled opportunities to build trade relations, secure business deals, and unveil the latest innovations in the global food industry.
