He affirmed that this agreement will contribute to launching joint research initiatives and enhancing the use of technology in the preservation and study of the Quran, along with training specialised personnel in both religious and technical fields.

Sharjah implements 6 lighting projects worth Dhs 11m in Central Region during Q1 2025

Sharjah Electricity, Water, and Gas Authority (SEWA) completed 6 lighting projects in the Central Region during the first quarter of 2025. These projects included the installation of 1,175 new lighting poles and 1,591 energy-efficient lamps and fixtures, at a total cost of Dhs11 million. Eng. Khalifa Mohammed Al Tuneiji, Director of the Central Region Department at SEWA, explained that the lighting projects in the Central Region were executed according to the highest standards. The projects completed during the first quarter of 2025 included: lighting Phase 2 of Al Hisn Residential Area in Al Dhaid, lighting Al Dhaid Camel Race Track, upgrading lighting in Jabal Omar Residential Area in Al Dhaid, lighting Phase 2 of Al Suwaihat Residential Area in Al Dhaid, lighting cattle farms in Mleiha and upgrading lighting in Jabal Omar Residential Area. Al Tuneiji stressed that SEWA is committed to providing the best services for developmental and tourism projects, as well as implementing lighting projects across various areas to ensure safety, security, and enhance the urban and aesthetic appearance of the region.
