Strong demand for Jordanian dinar as Eid al-Adha approaches
Ammon News - The Jordanian dinar is witnessing strong demand with the return of expatriates working abroad for their summer vacation and the approaching Eid al-Adha holiday, according to the Secretary-General of the Jordanian Exchange Association, Alaa Diraniyeh.
The volume of incoming remittances has also begun to rise due to the return of expatriates working abroad for their summer vacation, which has increased demand for the dinar, Diraniyeh indicated.
Diraniyeh stated that demand for the Jordanian dinar has increased since last week.
He also expected the volume of incoming remittances to increase by the end of this week, especially with Eid al-Adha just days away.
Demand for Arab and foreign currencies is still calm due to the war on Gaza, he pointed out.
