One arrested in Enterprise drug bust
ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN) – According to the Coffee County Sheriff's Office Facebook page, a handful of law enforcement officials from multiple departments and agencies executed a search warrant in Enterprise, where they discovered illegal narcotics.
Officials with the Alabama Drug Enforcement Task Force, ALEA, the SBI and the Coffee County Sheriff's Office were involved in this bust.
They initiated the warrant at the 600 block of West Adams Street, where they found 185 grams of methamphetamine, 16 grams of crack cocaine and four grams of oxycodone.
Also, along with the drugs, officials found a stolen firearm.
Officials arrested 62-year-old Larry Brooks for the crime.
They charged him with drug trafficking methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, a handful of counts of unlawful possession, forbidden to possess a firearm and receiving stolen property.
Several law enforcement officials from several Wiregrass counties were involved in the task force that completed this drug bust.
