DORCHESTER, Mass. (WWLP) – Multiple lottery players were lucky this month when winning big on instant ticket games. $10M lottery prize won on ticket bought in Stoughton Last Thursday, Alan D'Allessandro of Worcester was granted his $1 million prize at the Massachusetts State Lottery headquarters after winning big on the '$5,000,000 100X Cashword' ticket. D'Allessandro, a karate instructor, opted to receive his winnings as a one-time payment of $650,000 before taxes. He bought this prize ticket in Shrewsbury at Edgemere Mini Mart. The store received a bonus of $10,000 for its sale of the ticket. Last Friday, trustee Natalie Logan received two prizes on behalf of lucky winners who chose to claim their winnings through Quincy trusts. A $2,500 a week for life prize was won in the new '$2,500 a Week for Life' $10 instant ticket game. The JANLC Trust of Quincy received the prize as a one-time payment of $2,000,000 before taxes. Logan said that the winner plans to use these winnings to 'help make the world a better place, especially for their dog.' The ticket, which first went on sale on February 18, was purchased at Winners Corner in North Andover. The store received a bonus of $26,000 for selling the ticket. A ticket in the '$10,000,000 Bonanza' game resulted in one player receiving $1 million. The Bumbalina Trust of Quincy opted to claim the prize as a one-time payment of $650,000 before taxes. The winner shared via Logan that they will use their winnings to 'support their family and grandchildren.' The ticket was bought at Players Cafe in Hyde Park, and the store received a $10,000 bonus for this sale. Congratulations to these March winners!
