One arrested after pair of search warrants served in Chautauqua Co.
(WJET/WFXP)– An investigation spanning several months in Chautauqua County culminated in two search warrants being served at City of Dunkirk homes and one person being charged for now.
Members of the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office, FBI, Dunkirk and Jamestown police served those search warrants separately on the morning of March 3 with the first being served in the 90 block of Lincoln Ave and the other in the first block of Front St.
Three men arrested after drugs were found inside Jamestown residence
During those searches, police allegedly found an unspecified amount of cocaine, fentanyl, scales and packaging material used to sell drugs along with a shotgun and a rifle.
Police arrested 43-year-old Alberta Maxwell-Battle charging her with third and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a weapon and criminally using drug paraphernalia.

She's since been arraigned pleading not guilty with bail being set at $25,000 cash and $50,000 insured bond.
Police said they're still investigating both locations and more arrests could be possible.
