And Guerrero has put an unfinished mansion in Miami up for $75 million. Sitting on Palm's North Bay Road, the property is being sold as a custom spec home with a mind-blowing 18-car garage, and its likely buyers are ultra-wealthy types who value peace as much as prestige. The property's standout features The mansion occupies a half-acre plot of land on the waterfront with 110 feet of open bay and space for a 90-foot yacht on a private dock. The estate, which also has seven en-suite bedrooms, was designed by the architecture firm Valle Valle & Partners and measures over 10,250 square feet. The master suite is 1,500 square feet and will have its private garden, balcony overlooking the bay, and cold plunge. — WSJRealEstate (@WSJRealEstate) Aside from this, there are two indoor kitchens and a complete outdoor caterer's kitchen, great for entertainment purposes. On the outside, space is equipped with an infinity-edge pool, hot tub, and tropical landscaping to complement the luxurious feel. But the pièce de résistance is the home with the 18-car garage, which has a three-car climate-controlled space above ground and a 15-car underground bay, which the resident accesses through a gated entrance equipped with a waterfall-activated sensor. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 40+ Say This Wrinkle Serum "Really Delivered' (Shocking Results) The Skincare Magazine Undo Strategic pricing and Alex Guerrero's real estate journey Alex Guerrero paid a hefty amount of $13.6 million for the lot in the year 2023, after having completed a spec mansion on Palm Island that sold for $17 million. He situates the existing mid-construction North Bay Road project, which he anticipates wrapping in 2026, so that prospective buyers can customize finishes and layouts to their preference. Home to stars including the Beckhams, Cindy Crawford, and Karlie Kloss, North Bay Road is among Miami's more exclusive addresses. Quoting Guerrero's asking rate would be no mistake, as the location is so highly sought after that the Beckhams officially purchased it last October for about $72 million. And he is listed by Lourdes Alatriste of Douglas Elliman, who seems to be making a serious run at the upper-echelon level of real estate in Miami. So this mansion, to Guerrero, is more than a property; it's a statement piece for those buyers seeking high-end design, privacy, and the Miami experience.

A former Los Angeles Dodger is selling a $75 million home base in Miami. Alex Guerrero went from Dodger to developer. The Cuban-born power hitter previously made a name for himself playing for the Dodgers and Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball League before retiring several years ago. Now he's building luxury properties in Miami. 7 Alex Guerrero, pictured in 2015. Getty Images 7 A rendering of the spec house built by Guerrero. REDVERTEX Guerrero's most recent project along Miami's Millionaire's Row is hitting the market for that massive sum, the Wall Street Journal reported. Lourdes Alatriste of Douglas Elliman is representing the listing. When finished, the spec house on North Bay Road will span 10,250 square feet. The ultra-modern home enjoys 110 feet of waterfront, with dockage enough for a 90-foot yacht. The residence's half-acre spot along North Bay Road puts it in league with neighboring homes owned by the Beckhams, Cindy Crawford and Karlie Kloss. David and Victoria Beckham purchased a $72.24 million nine-bedroom home along North Bay in October 2024, notching the road's most expensive residential sale ever. 7 Guerrero, 38, has transitioned from professional baseball to luxury building. REDVERTEX Guerrero's development, constructed by Valle Valle & Partners, is designed to attract the same kind of buyers. The property boasts three kitchens, including an outdoor kitchen and a catering kitchen designed for large parties. Among its seven planned bedrooms is a 1,500-square-foot primary suite with a private garden, a cold plunge and a balcony overlooking Biscayne Bay. The trophy estate will also feature an infinity-edge pool and a hot tub. The real MVP of Guerrero's project, however, is the 18-car garage, accessed through a sensor-activated waterfall. The space includes a three-car air-conditioned garage and a 15-car undercarriage garage. 7 Guerrero played professionally in Japan followed his time with the LA Dodgers. REDVERTEX The home is projected to be completed in 2026, but Alatriste told the Journal that Guerrero is selling now in order to allow the home's buyer to customize their multimillion dollar investment. The former baseball pro played for the Los Angeles Dodgers from 2013 to 2016. Guerrero then joined Japan's professional baseball league before retiring and moving on to real estate. Guerrero has success in 2023 when he sold a Palm Island home in 2023 for $17 million, the Journal reported. Guerrero bought the site of his North Bay Road development that same year for $13.6 million, and now hopes to more than quintuple that investment.

Braman plans Miami high-rise towers, dealership expansion

Braman Motors, led by billionaire Norman Braman, has filed plans for its property in Miami to facilitate both expansion of the dealership and potential residential development. It's seeking a special area plan for its campus at 2060 Biscayne Blvd. to establish new design and density rules. The preliminary site plan shows an 11-story automotive building with 6,000 square feet of showroom space, an 8,500-square-foot service lounge, a 14,300-square-foot parts warehouse, a 44,200-square-foot paint shop, a 44,200-square-foot body shop with 51 bays, a 243,000-square-foot service center with 284 bays, and 1,869 parking spaces for customers, staff or inventory. The developer previously filed a land use amendment for the 23.2-acre site at 1401 W. Palmetto Park Road, but the Live Local Act would allow it to move forward with only city administrative approval, and not a public hearing. It aims to replace much of the existing shopping center, including an older Publix, with a 50,000-square-foot Publix, 28,460 square feet of new retail space, 341 apartments and a parking garage. Under the law, 40% of the units would be workforce housing. Costco planned in Miami-Dade Costco Wholesale Corp. The Costco would total 159,212 square feet, with a gas station and 800 parking spaces. Former MLB player to build Miami apartments AG Wyn LLC, led by former MLB player Alex Guerrero and Ruben Rodriguez, filed plans for a 41-story tower in Miami through the Live Local Act. As usual, 40% of the units would be workforce housing. Waldorf Astoria breaks ground in Pompano Beach Related Group and Merrimac Ventures broke ground on the oceanfront Waldorf Astoria Residences, Pompano Beach, the luxury brand's first location in the city and its first stand-alone residential building worldwide. The 28-story tower, on 1.7 acres at 1350 S. Ocean Blvd., will feature 90 units. The typical condo units range from 2,100 square feet with two bedrooms to 3,600 square feet with four bedrooms. The penthouses are over 6,100 square feet, and two of them include roof decks with private pools and summer kitchens. Prices start at $2.6 million. The four penthouses range from $16 million to $20 million. Greg Knobloch, senior development manager at Miami-based Related, said the Waldorf Astoria is 70% presold. About half of the buyers are from Florida, with the rest mostly from other states. About two-thirds of the buyers plan to live in the building, as there are relatively few investors, he added. 'We hope it's going to bring in the wealthy crowd to bring tax dollars to the city and to allow Pompano to go through a renaissance in the next 10 years,' Knobloch said. Miami-based Coastal Construction is the general contractor. Knobloch said the condo should be completed in two years. Amenities in the Waldorf Astoria will include a 20,000-square-foot oceanfront pool deck, a private marina, an outdoor bar, a dining lounge, a fitness center, a spa with treatment rooms, saunas and steam rooms, a billiards lounge, a kids' room and a sports simulator.
