LABOUR MINISTER MEETS GHANAIAN COUNTERPART Minister of Labour HE Dr. Ali bin Samikh Al Marri met with Minister of Labour, Jobs, and Employment of Ghana Abdul-Rashid Hassan Pelpuo on the sidelines of the conference on the future of the Fair Recruitment Initiative in Geneva on Monday. The meeting discussed aspects of joint cooperation between the two countries in the labour sector and ways to enhance them. (QNA)

Qatar-Somalia Joint Committee on Labour convenes in Doha
QNA Doha The Qatar–Somalia Joint Committee on Labour convened on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Minister of Labour HE Dr Ali bin Samikh Al Marri and Minister of Labour and Social Affairs of Somalia Yusuf Mohamed Adan. The Committee examined recent developments in bilateral cooperation within the labour sector and matters relevant to it, placing particular emphasis on strengthening the regulatory framework for workforce recruitment and on fostering greater utilization of highly skilled and rigorously trained personnel whose expertise not only fulfills the demands of Qatar's labour market but also advances the objectives of the Qatar National Vision 2030.

DOHA: The Qatar–Somalia Joint Committee on Labour has convened under the chairmanship of Minister of Labour HE Dr Ali bin Samikh Al Marri, together with Minister of Labour and Social Affairs of the Federal Republic of Somalia HE Yusuf Mohamed Adan. The Committee examined recent developments in bilateral cooperation within the labour sector and matters relevant to it, placing particular emphasis on strengthening the regulatory framework for workforce recruitment and on fostering greater utilization of highly skilled and rigorously trained personnel whose expertise not only fulfils the demands of the State of Qatar's labour market but also advances the objectives of the Qatar National Vision 2030.

Qatar participates in 7th Global Occupational Safety and Health Conference in Riyadh
QNA Riyadh Qatar on Sunday participated in the opening of the 7th Global Occupational Safety and Health Conference, being held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from May 4 6, under the theme 'Future of Occupational Safety and Health'. The conference was attended by a group of senior officials and experts from around the world. Minister of Labour HE Dr Ali bin Samikh Al Marri represented Qatar at the opening of the conference. The conference will discuss key topics, including Sustainability Strategies in the Workplace, the Digitisation and Modern Technology in OSH, Occupational Safety and Health Economics, the Future of Research and Innovation in the Field of OSH, the Future of Challenges in the Field of OSH, as well as Human Behaviors and OSH Culture.
