Clare swat aside Galway to book All-Ireland MHC semi-final date with Cork
A dominant second-half performance ensured Clare prolonged their stay in the All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship, as they ignored the setback of conceding a second goal to swat aside Galway in Thurles.

Limerick and Wexford will battle it out this afternoon for a place in the quarter-finals of the All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship. The Treaty County finished in fourth spot in the group stages of the Munster championship, winning just one of their four matches. Wexford also just one of their group stages matches, a 2-15 to 0-12 victory over Dublin in the Leinster Championship. The Yellowbellies ended up in third position in Tier 1 of the competition. Clare and Dublin will battle it out this afternoon for a place in the quarter-finals of the All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship. The Banner ended up in this position after finishing third in the group stages of the Munster championship, winning two of their four matches. Dublin lost all three of their matches in Tier 1 of the Leinster Championship group stages before beating Westmeath in the quarter-finals. The Dubs were knocked out by Kilkenny in the semi-finals.
