With averages of 22.3 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per 36 minutes in the last 30 games, his outstanding season end highlighted his brilliance and adaptability.
Along with winning Rookie of the Year, this feat made the Spurs the first team in NBA history to win back-to--back Rookie of the Year honours without having consecutive No.
