Emmerdale's big Robert Sugden return falls flat as ratings are revealed – and it's bad news for the soap
EMMERDALE'S big return for Robert Sugden failed to impress fans - with ratings DROPPING from the previous night. The ITV soap's big comeback for actor Ryan Hawley six years was hoped to bring in a major ratings boost for the cash-strapped channel. ONE of Hollyoaks' most beloved characters are making a shock comeback to face off against their nemesis more than a year after leaving the soap. The actor made a shock comeback just over a year ago but has now decided to bow out of the Channel 4 soap and spread his wings.
