Why didn't Boston Celtics point guard Derrick White make an All-Defense team?
Why didn't Boston Celtics point guard Derrick White make an All-Defense team for the 2024-25 NBA season? The University of Colorado alum was a top defender on both the perimeter and at the rim, and was a key cog in one of the league's best defenses all season long on the way to the Celtics winning 61 games in the regular season.
Add in the eye test, and it can be hard to understand what the logic was for leaving off White for any of the All-Defensive teams for this season, yet the Colorado native finds himself on the outside looking in.
