Bollywood singer Shreya Ghoshal has announced a revised date for her most anticipated concert in Mumbai. The event had to be postponed due to the ongoing India-Pakistan tensions.
Originally the show was scheduled for May 10 as a part of her ongoing All Hearts Tour, but considering the current situation, the singer decided to postpone it out of respect and in solidarity with the current situation.
Shreya Ghoshal recently took to her social media to share revised dates for her Mumbai show, which will be held on May 24 at the Jio World Garden.
Taking to Instagram, the singer shared a glamorous poster of her concert and wrote, 'Thank you for your love, patience, and understanding. As promised, we are coming back stronger and here to heal All Hearts with love and music."
Fans who have been waiting eagerly for the new dates rushed to the comments section to show their excitement.
One fan commented, 'Can't wait to watch you live." Another fan wrote, 'Have a blast at the concert, rock star." Someone else wrote, 'The update everyone was waiting for. I am sure Mumbai is even more excited than before."
Previously, Shreya shared an emotional note citing the reasons she had to postpone her Mumbai concert. Stating the concert meant the world to her, Shreya shed light on the current situation of the country. 'As an artist and a citizen, I feel a deep responsibility to stand in solidarity with the nation during this time," the singer wrote with 'a heavy heart.'
Apart from Shreya Ghoshal, multiple artists, including Arijit Singh, Papon, Shankar Mahadevan, Usha Uthup, and others, have also postponed their concerts.
Shreya Ghoshal's All Hearts Tour began in 2023, and since then the world tour has held more than 40 sold-out shows in multiple countries. From soulful melodies to upbeat dance numbers, Shreya mastered the art of captivating her audience in this 3-hour show.
Some of the upcoming venues of the tour include Holland, Doha, Kolkata, Chandigarh, and Sydney. According to the BookMyShow website, the ticket price of the Mumbai show starts at RS 1,199 and goes up to RS 24,999.
