God Almighty has said: "Fight them, and God will punish them by your hands, disgrace them, give you victory over them, and heal the hearts of a believing people."(Quran 9:14) Truly, God has spoken the truth. With gratitude and praise to God Almighty for the American failure, in defiance of the Israeli enemy, and in steadfastness upon the righteous stance in support of the Palestinian people and their noble mujahideen, we marched today in our million-man rallies… affirming the following: First:We extend profound thanks, immense praise, and gratitude to God, the Most High, the Almighty, the Sovereign of the heavens and the earth, who shattered the tyranny and arrogance of the leaders of disbelief and criminality at the hands of His mujahideen servants from Yemen, the land of faith and wisdom. This forced the enemy to announce the cessation of its aggression against our country without achieving any of its objectives, abandoning its protection of Zionist ships and humiliating its arrogance. We acknowledge all of this as God's grace and favor upon His believing servants—those who answer His call and rely on Him. It is He who guided, enabled, and steadied us, who strengthened our resolve, fortified our hearts, and elevated our morale. It is He who cast terror into the hearts of the enemies, restrained their hands, weakened their plots, and thwarted their goals. He is God Almighty—we praise Him, thank Him, glorify Him, seek His forgiveness, and repent to Him. At this moment, we also congratulate Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi—may God protect him—our armed forces, and all the free people of our nation and the world on the failure of the American enemy, the disappointment of its hopes, and the collapse of its objectives. Second: We emphatically reaffirm our unwavering stance in defense of Gaza and in support of the resistance—a stance with no retreat or compromise. We will not abandon them, nor will we forsake our humanity, religion, and brotherhood by turning away from them. We commend the operations of our armed forces against the American and Israeli enemies, most notably the precise strike on Lod Airport, which achieved great success by God's will. We also declare our clear and explicit challenge to the criminal Israeli enemy, vowing to confront it with full strength and determination without hesitation or retreat. We affirm our continued development of all capabilities and escalation of confrontation with the enemy in all fields. We reiterate our readiness for any resumption of American aggression against us, relying on God, depending on Him, and trusting in His promises. Third: As a Yemeni people of faith and jihad, honored by God with the words of His chosen Messenger—peace be upon him and his family "Faith is Yemeni, and wisdom is Yemeni," we know with absolute certainty that no matter how heavy the cost of confronting the enemies may seem, the price of negligence and inaction is far greater, graver, and more dangerous in this life and the hereafter. We are confident that whatever sacrifices we make or hardships we endure are in the path of God, seeking His pleasure, a rightful price for our freedom and dignity—without which there is no good, glory, or honor for us in this world or the next. The fruits of our sacrifices are nothing but goodness in both worlds. We praise God that we have responded to His call: "And strive with your wealth and your lives in the cause of God. That is best for you, if you only knew." (Quran 9:41) Fourth and Finally: We regret the state of some Arab and Islamic regimes and entities that have not only failed in their duty toward their nation's causes and suffering but have also sought to target their own people, incite against them, and conspire with their enemies. At this juncture, we commend the role of our brothers in the Sultanate of Oman in supporting peace among the peoples of the nation and their efforts to extinguish wars targeting the peoples of the region, which threaten its stability. We ask God Almighty to hasten victory and relief for the oppressed Palestinian Muslim people and their noble mujahideen, to grant us triumph through His aid, to have mercy on the martyrs, heal the wounded, and free the prisoners. Indeed, He is All-Hearing, Responsive to supplication. Peace be upon you, and the mercy of God and His blessings. Ready to forestall India's IWT threat: PM
Listen to article Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday reiterated that Pakistan always wanted peace in the region and was willing to discuss all bilateral issues with India on the negotiation table if India showed sincerity of purpose and cooperation. Addressing the second trilateral summit in Lachin city of Azerbaijan, the prime minister referred to the recent aggression of India and said that with Allah Almighty's infinite blessings and kindness, with the support of people of Pakistan, and friendly countries, and resolute response of the armed forces, they emerged victorious. In his speech, the prime minister further said that Pakistan wanted peace in the region and that required talks on the table to discuss the issues that needed urgent attention and amicable solution like the issue of Kashmir which should be resolved according to the UNSC resolutions and as per aspiration of the people of Kashmir. The prime minister said unfortunately, India tried to weaponise the Indus Waters Treaty which was a lifeline for the 240 million population of Pakistan that used the water for agriculture, drinking and other purposes. "It is most unfortunate that India tried to threaten to stop the flow of water into Pakistan. This is not possible, this is never possible and will not be possible Insha'Allah. We are making proper arrangements to ensure that India never ever does it," he emphatically maintained. The prime minister said if India wanted to talk on countering terrorism with sincerity of purpose, Pakistan would be willing to talk to them on this issue as well. "We are the biggest victim of terrorism around the globe and lost 90,000 valuable lives and suffered $150 billion worth of economic losses over the last many decades. There can be no bigger manifestation of our commitment and intention to beat this menace for all times to come," he added. If India showed serious and honest cooperation, he said Pakistan would be willing to discuss all the issues, including promotion of trade with India, on the negotiation table. The prime minister also appreciated the role of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir who, he said, led the armed forces of Pakistan to fight with great bravery and the highest level of professional acumen while the entire nation was standing behind them. The prime minister said that during the conflict with India, he found the Field Marshal as 'God-fearing, fearless, firm with iron resolve, patience and fortitude to face that aggression.' He reiterated that during the recent conflict, India failed to bring out any credible evidences against Pakistan and rejected their sincere offer for a neutral and transparent investigation into so-called Pahalagam incident by any international body. Azerbaijan's Independence Day Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday called for unity, peace and justice in the region while highlighting the deepening bonds among Pakistan, Azerbaijan, and Turkey, declaring the relationship as now "three souls and one heart." In his address at the Independence Day Ceremony of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Lachin, PM Shehbaz praised the leadership and bravery of the Azerbaijani people, who under President Aliyev's "visionary and dynamic leadership" liberated the region of Karabakh after decades of occupation. The addressing dignitaries also included President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkiye. "It is a matter of great honor to be here today, celebrating both Azerbaijan's Independence Day and Pakistan's Youm-e-Takbeer - the day we became a nuclear power in 1998," the Prime Minister stated, underscoring the symbolic significance of May 28 for both nations. In his address, the Prime Minister expressed heartfelt congratulations to the people of Azerbaijan and paid tribute to the sacrifices of their armed forces and martyrs. He emphasized the unwavering support that Pakistan and Turkey provided during Azerbaijan's struggle for territorial integrity. "When Armenia attacked Azerbaijan, Pakistan and Turkey stood like a rock beside it. And today, when India attacked Pakistan, President Erdogan and President Aliyev stood like a formidable fortress beside us. This is true brotherhood," Shehbaz Sharif said. The Prime Minister spoke candidly about recent hostilities between India and Pakistan. Referring to the April 22 incident in Pahalgam, Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, where 26 civilians were killed, he condemned India's immediate blame on Pakistan without evidence. "Pakistan offered an international inquiry commission for a free and transparent probe, but instead, India launched a deadly attack that killed 36 innocent Pakistanis, including children," he revealed. "We had no choice but to defend our nation." Shehbaz detailed Pakistan's military response, describing the downing of six Indian fighter jets - including four Rafales — and significant damage to Indian military installations. He praised the composure and leadership of Pakistan's armed forces, particularly Air Chief and Field Marshal COAS Asim Munir, for a swift and measured retaliation. "At 9 a.m., Field Marshal Asim Munir informed me that India had requested a ceasefire. I said, Allah Almighty has granted us a glowing victory - we must now act wisely, not prolong the conflict." Sharif also turned attention to other global humanitarian crises, particularly in IIOJK and Gaza. "The valley of Kashmir is red with the blood of freedom fighters. Despite tyranny and brutality, they stand firm in their pursuit of freedom — a right enshrined in UN Security Council resolutions," he said, reaffirming Pakistan's unwavering support. Addressing the tragedy in Gaza, PM Shehbaz condemned the ongoing atrocities: "Over 52,000 Palestinians — children, women, the elderly — have been martyred. Their blood stains the streets of Gaza. There is no modern precedent to this level of brutality." He called on the international community to awaken its conscience and echoed global praise for President Erdogan's vocal advocacy for the oppressed. "Let our voices rise - in the name of God — to demand a ceasefire and justice for the people of Gaza." Describing the trilateral meeting between Pakistan, Turkey, and Azerbaijan as "productive and inspiring," PM Shehbaz concluded his address with a call for regional unity and enduring friendship. "Our flags today flutter high — as emblems of unity, hope, and strength," he said, adding, "We will continue to stand with our brothers and sisters, whether in Karabakh, Kashmir, or Gaza. This is our shared commitment, our shared destiny."

He reiterated that during the recent conflict, India failed to bring out any credible evidence against Pakistan and rejected their sincere offer for a neutral and transparent investigation into the so-called Pahalagam incident by any international body. The prime minister said that during their previous trilateral format, the three countries held very fruitful discussions on the issues of mutual interests and hoped that their session in Lachin city would take their cooperation to new heights, in consonance with the wishes and desires of the people of the three countries. He said that it would be no surprise to anyone that Pakistan, Turkiye and Azerbaijan were bound together with historical, cultural and spiritual ties spanning over centuries. This historic friendship was strengthened with the passage of time, and they stood together with each other, whether it was Nagorno-Karabakh, Northern Cyprus and Kashmir issues, he opined. The prime minister said that it was natural that their people were bound together with love and passion, supporting their common objectives. Their people had given them their support with the outpouring of love and affection. He also highlighted that today, the world faced numerous grave challenges, including armed conflicts, diseases, climate change and economic crises, and they had assembled there opting for compassion while rejecting conflicts. They were confident that the passion and wisdom would ultimately usher in peace and prosperity, he added. In today's unpredictable volatile world, Prime Minister Sharif said the political security, connectivity, alignments and emerging technology were shaping the new reality, and in such a situation, Pakistan was very fortunate to have sincere brothers like Turkiye and Azerbaijan who stood with them as impregnable rocks and whom they could trust without any second thoughts. They were always united in peace, justice and morality, he said, expressing his confidence that their time-tested relationship would not only prove beneficial to the well-being of their people but would also contribute to the peace and prosperity in the region and beyond. The prime minister further said that the trilateral format was of great importance and significance that had given them 'political ownership and impetus to move collectively in unison in all spheres of their common interests.' He also expressed his gratitude to the Turkish and Azerbaijani presidents for their firm stand and unwavering commitment to Pakistan during its conflict with India. Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev, in his remarks, said that the three countries were united based on their common and shared history, culture and religion. Turkiye and Pakistan extended moral support to them, for which they were thankful, he said and highlighted the significance of solidarity and unity for the development of their nations by tapping resources to achieve their shared goals. He said Azerbaijan wanted to advance its cooperation through joint ventures and envisaged a $2 billion investment in Pakistan's economy with specific development projects. President Aliyev further stressed upon cooperation over AI, space exploration, academic collaboration, cultural events and tourism links to enhance ties between their people. He said that tensions between Pakistan and India troubled them most, and they expressed solidarity with Pakistan, adding that dialogue and negotiations under the UN charter were a way to move forward. President of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in his speech, congratulated Azerbaijan on the Independence Day and said that the three brotherly countries were linked with mutual trust and confidence. Their ties were being strengthened, and they were striving to translate their trilateral relationship into strategic cooperation, he added. He hoped that the region would become the focus of peace, stability and prosperity. Referring to the recent visit of PM Shehbaz to Istanbul, President Erdogan said that they discussed the scope of the high-level strategic council and historic ties. He congratulated the prime minister for the prudent and wise approach during the conflict with India and said that the ceasefire had ended tensions between the two countries. He reiterated Turkiye's contribution towards securing a permanent peace. President Erdogan further underscored the different challenges faced by the world, ranging from security threats to economic meltdown and stressed upon joint projects and cooperation among the three countries in trade facilitation, investment promotion and digital transformation. He claimed Pakistan's armed forces and the public had shown 'unbreakable unity' and resolve during the confrontation. 'This year, the joys of Youm-e-Takbeer have further increased for a nation filled with victory,' he stated. Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to the scientific and political leadership behind the nuclear programme. He singled out Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, who initiated the programme in the 1970s, and Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan, widely regarded as the father of Pakistan's nuclear capability. He also praised the contributions of scientists, engineers, the armed forces and the people. — PTV News (@PTVNewsOfficial) May 28, 2025 'I salute the nation, which made immense sacrifices for the completion of the nuclear programme and wrote a proud story of its determination and faith,' he said. He called Youm-e-Takbeer not just a celebration of the past, but a call to build a stronger, self-reliant future. 'Today we pledge to make Pakistan an economic power and achieve its true place in the world. Insha Allah. Long live Pakistan.' In a separate message, President Asif Ali Zardari described Pakistan's nuclear capability as a 'calculated decision' to ensure peace and maintain strategic balance in South Asia. 'Becoming a nuclear power was not merely a demonstration of technological advancement,' Zardari said. 'It was to protect the nation from external aggression and safeguard peace through strength.' Zardari said the country's nuclear programme continues to serve as a 'credible minimum deterrent' amid a changing regional security environment, ensuring that no one can undermine Pakistan's sovereignty. He praised the civil and military leadership, scientists and engineers for their efforts, and acknowledged the foundational role of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. He also credited former prime minister Benazir Bhutto for further advancing the programme during her tenure. 'We also pay tribute to Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, who laid the foundation of Pakistan's nuclear programme,' he said. 'And we acknowledge the role of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, whose stewardship further advanced and strengthened it.' Touching on recent tensions with India, Zardari highlighted what he called Pakistan's 'calibrated response' under Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos—a military action that, he said, was effective in forcing the enemy to cease hostilities. He said Pakistan remains committed to peaceful coexistence and international law, but warned that the country will never compromise on its sovereignty. 'As we commemorate this important day, let us renew our pledge to uphold and safeguard the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our beloved country.' The day was marked with official ceremonies, national broadcasts, and messages of remembrance, unity and resilience. Public institutions, military establishments and civil organisations also honoured the scientific and strategic achievement that placed Pakistan on the global nuclear map.
