Eastridge's Alyssa Cowart is our Player of the Week
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – After earning a triple-double to lead the Lancers to their fourth-straight victory, Eastridge girls basketball's Alyssa Cowart has earned our Player of the Week.
Cowart put up 24 points, 12 rebounds and came away with 10 steals in a 65-37 win over Honeoye Falls-Lima on Friday.
The sophomore has put up double digits throughout the season, entering the game against HFL with a 15-point performance against Churchville-Chili.
Cowart has contributed to the Lancers' best start in school history. They're 11-1 and No. 6 in the state, and our player of the week is a big reason why.
