Joplin's 4th Street & Murphy Blvd intersection open to all traffic
JOPLIN, Mo. — The city said an ongoing intersection project is open to all traffic now.
The intersection of 4th Street and Murphy Boulevard is currently operating as a four-way stop now that crews have finished the signal and road work. Permanent pavement markers will be added soon, weather permitting.

Additional city notifications will warn of some anticipated closure dates so crews can complete the final stages. Those can be found on the city's site here.
Part of the enhancements include stormwater improvements.
The $1.7 million infrastructure project is funded through the Capital Improvement Sale Tax, and Use Tax revenues are being used for the beautification efforts, the city added.
