Gamers holding out for Nintendo Switch 2 might be in luck as some retailers still have stock - here's where you can pre-order the games console
The Nintendo Switch 2 is due to hit the shelves in just a few days - and if gamers have been holding off on purchasing it, they might be in luck as some retailers still have stock.
The Switch 2 will be launched on June 5 and will feature an upgraded Switch console with a larger screen, new games, and a host of additional features. Pre-ordering the device was initially somewhat challenging, but the good news is that shoppers can get their hands on it right now.
Amazon is the place to go, currently offering the console for pre-order at £395.99 and £429.99 for the Mario Kart: World bundle if gamers fancy a new game to accompany their shiny new console. However, stock is proving to be hit and miss.
For shoppers who want to shop around for a new games console, Sony has also kicked off its Days of Play sale, offering discounts on consoles, controllers, and games. The Dualsense Edge Wireless controller can be picked up for £174.99, while the PS VR2 with Horizon: Call of the Mountain for £354.99 is also reduced from £399.
There are other places to check out as well, depending on your retailer of choice. Here's a quick rundown of all the places shoppers can buy the Switch 2 between now and June 5. Despite some showing as out of stock, it's worth refreshing, as availability isn't fluctuating.

Additional first and third-party games will be released in the weeks and months following launch, including Donkey Kong Bananza on July 17 and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond later in the year. In terms of what's in the box, the Nintendo Switch 2 console comes with two Joy-Con 2 controllers (L+R), Joy-Con 2 Grips, Joy-Con 2 Straps, Nintendo Switch 2 Dock, an Ultra High-Speed HDMI Cable, Nintendo Switch 2 AC Adapter and USB-C Charging Cable.
