Tadepalli (Guntur): Terming the' Betrayal Day,' as a grand success which reflects the ire of the people who felt cheated as none of the poll promises were implemented by the coalition government YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been with the people throughout. Speaking to media at Tadepalli on Wednesday, Party State coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said despite the police restrictions the 'Betrayal Day' was a grand success with people voicing their dissent in unison as the election promises were not fulfilled by Chandrababu Naidu.. He said, people felt cheated as the existing schemes were stopped and the promised ones were not rolled out and this has a clear reflection in the success of Betrayal Day, he said adding that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He said health, medical and agriculture sectors are being neglected by the coalition government and criticized that Chandrababu Naidu has downsised the number of beneficiaries drastically but has been boasting that he has increased the pension amount. Ambati picked up argument with police in Guntur city Meanwhile, in Guntur city YSRCP leaders took out a rally in Guntur city on the occasion 'Betral Day'. The police did not allow the former minister Ambati Rambabu into the Collectorate. They stopped him. The latter picked up an argument with the police officials. They said they had no permission for conducting the rally. They allowed a few people into the Collectorate. Police officials and Ambati Rambabu quarrelled for a few minutes.

Guntur: YSRCP questioned as to what happened to its vision when Dalit and minority youth were beaten up at Tenali. Speaking to media in Guntur city on Sunday, former minister and YSRCP leader Ambati Rambabu said former chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will visit Tenali on June 3 to console the victims of police brutality. An attempted murder case was booked against three youths-John Victor, Doma Rajesh and Sheikh Babulal-- on charges of attacking a constable. Ambati Rambabu demanded that they should be arrested and produced before court but they were brutally beaten up in full public view to terrorise them. He said filing false cases against those who question the government has become a norm showing no respect to democracy. Farmers are not getting MSP to any crop and all sections of people are unhappy with the coalition government, he said.

Guntur: YSRCP pooh-poohed TDP for its three-day Mahanadu and termed it as a farce drumming up sycophancy and targeting the Opposition as the party has nothing to speak about its achievements. Speaking to media at Tadepalli on Friday, former minister and YSRCP leader Ambati Rambabu said the three-day farce stems out of the fear and guilt that they could not implement even a single poll promise and there has been dissent from all sections of people. He said the insecurity of Chief Minister N Chandrababu was widely visible throughout the event which was the reason that he could not tell people about the benefits he had done to the people, nor could he categorically talk about the date of implementation of schemes.

Guntur: Former minister and YSRCP Guntur district president Ambati Rambabu criticised Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for using diversion politics to shift public focus from the coalition government's 'corrupt' administration. Addressing the media here on Tuesday, he stated that the arrests of former intelligence chief PSR Anjaneyulu and Raj Kasireddy, under the guise of a liquor scam were orchestrated to distract from widespread irregularities of the coalition government. The state transferred Rs 3,000 crore worth land in Visakhapatnam to Ursa, a suitcase company, at 99 paise per acre and siphoned crores through commissions in Amaravati capital construction. Rambabu condemned the government's failure to fulfil election promises.
