Sandwich shop looking to stack up team members
CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) — Building a career is just like building a sandwich: it takes good ingredients, but combine that with a good attitude and it can lead to something big. Capriotti's Sandwich Shop has been piling on the meats, cheeses and ingredients at its Canfield location for over a year. It's looking for team members to work there or at a new location opening soon in Trumbull County. 'If you don't have any qualifications, you never worked in the food business, we here at Capriotti's, we'd be more than happy to train you the way we do it here,' said owner Amber Walley. Capriotti's is building something extraordinary, from your sandwich to your experience in the store. It trains workers to handle four stations: making a hot sub on the grill, at the cold bay, wrapping and putting things in the bag and out to customers, or working at the register. It's a fast-paced, team environment. 'A team member, to us, is somebody who is willing to help in, whether you're on that station or not,' said assistant manager Haley Taylor. 'So if you do learn all the stations, or if one station gets backed up on the other, you're able to jump in and help them through it,' Walley said. Walley is the owner of Capriotti's two Mahoning Valley locations. She's also the Franchisee of the Year winner. Capriotti's is expanding and has opportunities for you to grow your career. 'So we are always looking for somebody who is driven that wants to, you know, grow in the position, as far as like a shift leader, an assistant manager, even general manager,' Walley said. Capriotti's thrives on trying to impress you. It wants you to taste the difference and experience the difference. You can also be part of the team creating the environment where you can thrive. 'I actually like coming to work, because I feel like all my friends are here, and we just have a good time, and we make the customers happy,' Taylor said. Capriotti's expects to open the second location in April. You can apply for a position in person at the Canfield location at 6442 S. Raccoon Road or go online. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc.
