Tuesday night storm knocks out power to thousands in North Peoria
PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) — More than 3,000 customers in North Peoria are without power after a late afternoon storm blew through the area.
The outages started around 6 p.m. and mostly hit the area near Richwoods High School and all the way north to Illinois Route 6. In all, about 3,300 customers were without power, according to the Ameren Illinois Outage map.
There were also about 31 customers without power near East Peoria.
