Charlotte Tilbury teams up with Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders
Charlotte Tilbury has launched a new partnership with the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders (DCC). The make-up mogul's new venture - called the Charlotte Tilbury Darlings - aims to "introduce the magical world of Charlotte Tilbury to America's largest sports stage" with the team expected to be seen wearing the brand's products during their appearances at NFL games. Tilbury told WWD: "The DCC are a symbol of strength, empowerment and entertainment, which is why they continue to inspire millions of fans around the world! I've been inspired by them since their start in the 1970s, as they so beautifully showcase glamour and confidence alongside athletic excellence and dedication. "As our first ever sports partnership in the US, working with the DCC is the perfect opportunity to introduce the magical world of Charlotte Tilbury to America's largest sports stage, so that even more people can discover the transformative power of makeup, skincare and fragrance and unlock the magic of confidence." Charlotte Jones, co-owner and chief brand officer of the Dallas Cowboys, added: "We are honored to have the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders serve as a leading example of Charlotte Tilbury's mission, one that encourages confidence, celebrates uniqueness and inspires women everywhere to be the best version of themselves. "When women lift each other up, we don't just step - we leap into greatness." The move comes after the DCC featured in their own Netflix series 'America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders' which followed the squad throughout the gruelling audition process as well as showing their training and appearances throughout the NFL season. Charlotte - who launched her self-titled brand back in 2013 - has previously insisted she aims to be able to give women "confidence" through her beauty products and receives so many letters from customers who credit her with building their self-esteem. She told HELLO! magazine: "People write to me all the time saying they've succeeded at something because my products helped give them the confidence. "My whole mantra is 'give everyone the right make-up, skincare and fragrance, and they can conquer the world ... " She added: "We evolved from start-up to record-breaking, market-leading global beauty powerhouse. We're unstoppable. "A product doesn't launch until I know it is perfect, which can sometimes take years. While others may try to imitate, no one does it like me, darling!"

Photo courtesy of Netflix June 4 (UPI) -- Netflix is previewing Season 2 of the docuseries America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, which premieres on the streamer June 18. In the trailer released Wednesday, the cheerleaders anticipate the results of a competitive audition process. "You're like 'when we make this team, we're gonna make it together 'cause we're friends,'" a hopeful says as the girls laugh and eat pizza together. "But then it doesn't always end up like that." The sophomore season will give a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the cheerleading squad during the 2024-2025 NFL football season, beginning with tryouts. "DCC (Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders) is the pinnacle of professional cheerleading, and Kelli Finglass, the team director, and Judy Trammell, the head choreographer, have returned to find the 36 best dancers from this smiling army of hopefuls," the official synopsis reads. Greg Whitely (Cheer) directs Season 2, which arrives roughly a year after the docuseries premiered.

In a new trailer released ahead of the season 2 premiere of America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders on Wednesday, June 18, fans are getting their first extended look at what's to come for the squad in new episodes. As this season's team is put together, the tension mounts and new drama awaits. "We're excited that there's a lot of new girls," one returning cheerleader says. "Every year, the talent just gets better and better and better." Another prospective squad member adds: "We've always been told, there's a 100 more girls who would love to do this job." Even Kelli Finglass, DCC director, is affected by the grueling audition process. "It's hard when you have to put your heart aside," choreographer Judy Trammell says, to which a teary-eyed Finglass responds: "Yeah, but at what cost?" At another point in the process, Finglass elaborates on the competitive aspect of choosing a team. "The pressure doesn't go away, we just cut a good one," she says. The new season follows at least one cheerleader who had previously tried out, as well as another who is following in the footsteps of her mother, who was a member of the DCC decades ago. And another prospective squad member reveals that the girls "all do crazy things to be here." "I have three jobs, four if you count DCC," she says, alluding to the financial implications of making the team. According to Netflix, season 2 of director Greg Whiteley's hit sports reality series will "continue giving viewers unfiltered access into this iconic team and franchise." Netflix removes a large section of titles each month and, depending where you are in the world, you won't be warned. While in the US, the streaming service announces which films and TV shows will be taken down ahead of time, this does not happen in the UK. This means that, as well as the addition of a staggering amount of projects this month, a number of titles could vanish from your watchlist without you realising.
