Tourists Flee Mount Etna Eruption
Amir hagag A video published by Italian media showing tourists fleeing during the eruption of Mount Etna in Italy has sparked widespread controversy on social media. A massive eruption on Mount Etna forced tourists to flee the volcano on Monday, after a column of superheated gases, ash, and rocks rose "several kilometers" above them, according to Italian authorities. Photos posted on social media showed long lines of people running down the hill to escape the explosion, while a travel agency owner told CNN that there were 40 people on the surface of the Sicilian volcano when it erupted. Giuseppe Panfalo, a tour guide with Go Etna, filmed a group of tourists huddled together in the shadow of a massive ash cloud on the horizon. "They almost scratched us. Look at this cloud. We were just a few steps away. Thank God we had a responsible guide with us," he says in the video he shared with CNN Spanish. "It all came at once: a huge cloud of smoke, a huge roar." read more Gold prices rise, 21 Karat at EGP 3685 NATO's Role in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict US Expresses 'Strong Opposition' to New Turkish Military Operation in Syria Shoukry Meets Director-General of FAO Lavrov: confrontation bet. nuclear powers must be avoided News Iran Summons French Ambassador over Foreign Minister Remarks News Aboul Gheit Condemns Israeli Escalation in West Bank News Greek PM: Athens Plays Key Role in Improving Energy Security in Region News One Person Injured in Explosion at Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid News Australia Fines Telegram $600,000 Over Terrorism, Child Abuse Content News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Sports Neymar Announced for Brazil's Preliminary List for 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers News Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly Inaugurates Two Indian Companies Arts & Culture New Archaeological Discovery from 26th Dynasty Uncovered in Karnak Temple Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks News Shell Unveils Cost-Cutting, LNG Growth Plan

Spain Cancels Deal to Purchase Missiles from Israel Due to Gaza Strip
Amir hagag The Spanish Ministry of Defense confirmed that it had suspended the license of an Israeli company to manufacture 168 Spike LR2 anti-tank missile systems in Spain and ordered the cancellation of the contract and the deal due to the Israeli massacres in the Gaza Strip. The Spanish channel Cadena de Ser reported on its website that the Spanish Ministry had canceled the contract, valued at approximately 285 million euros. The Ministry of Defense explained at the time that the obsolescence of the systems used so far required their replacement with newer systems, similar to those already in service with many allied armies, and that the Israeli company was the only one technically qualified to develop these fifth-generation missiles. The contract, which has not yet been officially concluded, stipulated that the Spanish Ministry of Defense would pay approximately 285 million euros over five years to equip army and marine units already using the previous version of the Spike LR missile with these new missiles. Minister of State for Defense, Amparo Valcarce, indicated that the government is working on "disengagement plans" to avoid dependence on Israel "in any way." read more Gold prices rise, 21 Karat at EGP 3685 NATO's Role in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict US Expresses 'Strong Opposition' to New Turkish Military Operation in Syria Shoukry Meets Director-General of FAO Lavrov: confrontation bet. nuclear powers must be avoided News Iran Summons French Ambassador over Foreign Minister Remarks News Aboul Gheit Condemns Israeli Escalation in West Bank News Greek PM: Athens Plays Key Role in Improving Energy Security in Region News One Person Injured in Explosion at Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid News Australia Fines Telegram $600,000 Over Terrorism, Child Abuse Content News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Sports Neymar Announced for Brazil's Preliminary List for 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers News Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly Inaugurates Two Indian Companies Arts & Culture New Archaeological Discovery from 26th Dynasty Uncovered in Karnak Temple Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks News Shell Unveils Cost-Cutting, LNG Growth Plan

Crystal Palace Threatened with Europa League Exclusion
Amir hagag The Athletic reported that English club Crystal Palace could be excluded from the Europa League, despite qualifying via the FA Cup, due to a suspected conflict of interest related to the club's ownership. Crystal Palace won the FA Cup after defeating Manchester City 1-0 in the final. The problem lies with American businessman John Textor, who owns 43% of Crystal Palace's shares. He also owns French club Olympique Lyonnais and Danish club Brøndby. Under UEFA regulations, two clubs under the same ownership are prohibited from participating in the same European competitions to avoid a conflict of interest. According to the report, UEFA has opened a formal investigation into the matter and is expected to announce its final decision within two weeks. If the violation is proven, Crystal Palace, not Lyon, will be excluded from the Europa League. The French club finished seventh in the domestic league, while Palace finished eleventh in the English Premier League, giving Lyon priority to participate. Olympique Lyonnais has qualified for the Europa League, while Brøndby will participate in the Europa Conference League, placing Crystal Palace in a difficult position. Crystal Palace claims that Textor only holds 25% of the voting rights, and that CEO Steve Parish is directly responsible for the club's management, which could weaken the argument for a conflict of interest. read more Japan Stun Spain 2-1 to Qualify for World Cup Last 16 World Cup 2022: Get to Know Confirmed Line-ups of Japan and Spain Group E Decider Saudi Arabia Bid Farewell to World Cup after 2-1 Loss to Mexico Tunisia Achieve Historic Win over France but Fail to Qualify Tunisia to Clash against France in World Cup Sports Get to Know Squad of Group D Teams in World Cup Sports Al Ahly Gift EGP 70,000 to Players After Claiming Egyptian Super Cup Title Sports Bencharki Hits First 2 Goals with Al Jazira Since Leaving Zamalek Sports Arsenal Possible Line-up for Nottingham Forest News Australia Fines Telegram $600,000 Over Terrorism, Child Abuse Content News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Sports Neymar Announced for Brazil's Preliminary List for 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers News Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly Inaugurates Two Indian Companies Arts & Culture New Archaeological Discovery from 26th Dynasty Uncovered in Karnak Temple Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks News Shell Unveils Cost-Cutting, LNG Growth Plan

Catastrophic Conditions in Operating Rooms and Intensive Care Units in Gaza
Amir hagag Medical sources in the Gaza Strip said, "The operating rooms, intensive care units, and emergency rooms are experiencing catastrophic conditions, with an increase in serious injuries due to the ongoing and violent Israeli bombardment of various parts of the Gaza Strip." The sources added, according to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), that the shortage of life-saving medicines, medical supplies, and diagnostic imaging equipment is preventing urgent surgical interventions for the wounded. They noted that community appeals for blood donations have become ineffective, with malnutrition worsening among citizens. The sources explained that generators are operating on limited fuel reserves to supply vital departments with electricity. Since October 7, 2023, the death toll in the Gaza Strip has reached 54,510, the majority of whom are children and women, as a result of the Israeli occupation's aggression. The death toll has reached 124,901, while a number of victims remain under the rubble, unable to be reached by ambulances and civil defense teams. read more Gold prices rise, 21 Karat at EGP 3685 NATO's Role in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict US Expresses 'Strong Opposition' to New Turkish Military Operation in Syria Shoukry Meets Director-General of FAO Lavrov: confrontation bet. nuclear powers must be avoided News Iran Summons French Ambassador over Foreign Minister Remarks News Aboul Gheit Condemns Israeli Escalation in West Bank News Greek PM: Athens Plays Key Role in Improving Energy Security in Region News One Person Injured in Explosion at Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid News Australia Fines Telegram $600,000 Over Terrorism, Child Abuse Content News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Sports Neymar Announced for Brazil's Preliminary List for 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers News Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly Inaugurates Two Indian Companies Arts & Culture New Archaeological Discovery from 26th Dynasty Uncovered in Karnak Temple Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks News Shell Unveils Cost-Cutting, LNG Growth Plan
