Andy Fox went live at 11 a.m. with Virginia Beach Mayor Bobby Dyer ahead of the snowstorm.
On Wednesday, Amtrak Trains 67, 93 and 125 are canceled south of Washington (WAS). This includes the evening train into Newport News as well as the late-night train into Norfolk. On Thursday, Amtrak Trains 186, 84 and 174 are canceled south of Washington (WAS). This includes the evening train coming out of Newport News as well as the early morning train coming from Norfolk.

As of 12:15 p.m., Brett Hall said that snow doesn't appear to currently be sticking to the roads, but drivers are still advised to avoid roads as that could change. Bridges and overpasses freeze first — so use extra caution.
10 On Your Side's Chris Horne is going to a news conference at 3 p.m. where the city will discuss the winter weather.
Snow has already begun falling in Franklin and a WAVY viewer sent in the following video capturing the moment.

Mayor Bobby Dyer assures Andy Fox that Virginia Beach is prepared for the storm.
In Virginia Beach, Transitions Day Services at the Housing Resource Center (HRC), 104 N. Witchduck Road, is open until 3 p.m. on Feb. 19 for individuals experiencing unsheltered homelessness. Adults experiencing homelessness in Virginia Beach who will need overnight shelter should make their way to the HRC before 3 p.m. for intake for the Winter Shelter program.
