Tinie, whose full name is Amy Nur Tinie Abdul Aziz, said the incident happened when she was 23 and still active in the beauty pageant circuit. KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Amy Nur Tinie has revealed that she was once propositioned to become the third wife of a man with the title of 'Datuk.' The 29-year-old actress and former beauty queen recounted the incident, which occurred about six years ago during her active participation in beauty pageants. "Before I ventured into acting, I was heavily involved in beauty pageants," Amy Nur Tinie explained in a recent news report. "The expenses associated with competing abroad were substantial, so I sought sponsorship from a corporate entity." "This particular 'Datuk' offered to sponsor me, but on the condition that I become his third wife," she said. "He also offered other material comforts, including a house.
