Part-time farmer, full-time charmer -- and completely out of luck with gardaí
Gardaí in New Ross caught a learner driver over the weekend taking a bit more freedom on the road than the rules allow.

Officers from Unit D of New Ross Garda Station carried out the stop as part of ongoing road safety enforcement in the area.
While the sticker may have raised a few smiles, gardaí reminded motorists that road safety is no laughing matter.
'We're aware that delays in driving tests are frustrating,' a spokesperson said, 'but it's important that learner drivers gain experience in the proper manner, with someone who has a better understanding of getting out of potentially awkward or difficult driving situations.'
Let this be a reminder: charm doesn't get you out of a traffic offence.
