Naveen Polishetty's Anaganaga Oka Raju set for Sankranthi 2026 release
Sankranthi has always been a prime season for Telugu cinema, and 2026 is already shaping up to be exciting. Following the announcement of the Chiranjeevi–Anil Ravipudi project, actor Naveen Polishetty's 'Anaganaga Oka Roju' has now joined the festive release makers shared the release date on social media with a new poster. "Tension endhuku Dandaga Raju garu ekkadunte akkada pandaga. The Star Entertainer @NaveenPolishety is back with the perfect family entertainer for Sankranthi. #AnaganagaOkaRaju Worldwide Grand Release on JAN 14th, 2026 (sic)," read the the post:
In December, the makers unveiled a special teaser on Naveen Polishetty's birthday, offering a glimpse into the quirky world of Raju, played by Naveen. The teaser shows him comically navigating the chaos of wedding one standout moment, Raju makes a tongue-in-cheek phone call to business tycoon Mukesh Ambani, requesting the same Hollywood celebrities who attended Anant Ambani's wedding. The teaser also introduces the bride, played by Meenakshi Chaudhary, during a lively photoshoot film faced multiple delays over time. Sreeleela was originally cast as the female lead, but reports suggest she had to opt out due to scheduling conflicts. Actor Naveen Polishetty also reportedly met with an accident in the US in March 2025, suffering multiple the teaser for Anaganaga Oka Roju: The film is bankrolled by Naga Vamsi S and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. It is presented by Srikara Studios, with music composed by Mickey J Meyer. During Sankranthi 2025, Sithara Entertainments released Nandamuri Balakrishna's Daaku Maharaaj, and they're now gearing up for Anaganaga Oka Raju in Naveen Polishetty was last seen in 'Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty' alongside Anushka Shetty.
