3 juveniles, 1 adult charged after stolen firearm found during Bridgeport traffic stop
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH) — Bridgeport police say three juveniles and an adult were arrested Wednesday after officers allegedly found a stolen firearm in their vehicle.
Police said an officer on patrol stopped a vehicle after seeing motor vehicle violations. The 32-year-old driver was in the vehicle with three juveniles at the time.

According to police, the officer found a loaded black handgun with a laser inside the vehicle and the group was arrested and transported to booking facilities.
The Stoeger STR-9C with a 13-round magazine with 13 live 9mm rounds was later determined stolen from North Carolina, police said.
The driver- Andre J. Lewison of Bridgeport- was charged with nearly a dozen offenses, including two counts of risk of injury to a child, second-degree reckless endangerment, and stealing a firearm.

The juveniles also face a handful of charges, including carrying pistol without permit, illegal possession of large capacity firearm, and criminal possession of a firearm.
Lewison's bond was set at $50,000 and the juveniles were issued summons before being released to their parents.
