EXCLUSIVE Andreas Pereira interview: I played under Ferguson, Mourinho and Van Gaal at Man United - but here's why Fulham's Marco Silva is the most prepared manager I've ever seen
The transfer window is about to open again so you will be hearing Andreas Pereira's name a lot in the next few months. It's common for a player who has been in demand from elsewhere so often during his time in the Premier League. Last winter, Brazilian giants Palmeiras made an approach, but he's having too much fun at Fulham.

Man Utd set for transfer boost with Premier League star set for imminent talks
Fulham midfielder Andreas Pereira is set to hold discussions over his Fulham future at the end of the season amid strong interest from Brazil and Europe Manchester United stand to profit if Andreas Pereira leaves Fulham this summer. The Brazilian midfielder has just one year left to run on his current deal at Craven Cottage at the end of the season, though Marco Silva's side have a one-year extension option. Fulham have been keen to tie down Pereira to improved terms but the 29-year-old is thought to be open to a new challenge and will explore all possible options in the coming months. Nottingham Forest and Marseille are among his admirers while Brazilian side Palmeiras were hot in pursuit of the playmaker in January. The South American giants are believed to have had two bids rebuffed. However, if Fulham do decide to consider offers for Pereira, United could earn some much-needed bonus cash. The Red Devils have a 20 per cent sell-on clause after selling the Belgian-born starlet to Fulham in September 2022 for an initial £8million plus £2m in bonuses. Speaking to Opta in March, Pereira revealed he wants to prove United made a mistake in selling him whenever he plays at Old Trafford. He said: 'I don't think I got my full chance to play and show my quality when I was there. Fulham gave me that opportunity, they did everything for me, and I want to do everything for them. So, whenever I play at Old Trafford, I want to show that United made a mistake.' Fulham must win at Brentford on Sunday to keep their European qualification hopes alive. Boss Silva has repeatedly outlined his commitment to the west Londoners in recent weeks amid links to Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal. Silva has already made ambitious transfer plans with the Fulham hierarchy ahead of the summer window and Pereira remains a key part of his squad. However, if Pereira expresses a desire to leave, they're unlikely to stand in his way. Back in December, the ex-United man was dropped from the Fulham squad to face Tottenham after his comments during a foreign media interview appeared to get lost in translation. It was initially conveyed that he was frustrated that a switch to French side Marseille collapsed last summer, however, moving to clarify for the ordeal - Pereira was keen to highlight he was happy at Fulham. He wrote on social media: "I would like to address the article recently published about me. Unfortunately, the piece contains statements attributed to me that I did not make, and the translation into English was done in a malicious and inaccurate manner, completely distorting my words. "In the interview, I clearly expressed my happiness and satisfaction with being at Fulham and my gratitude for everything the club and the staff have done for me, emphasising at all times that I still have two years remaining on my contract and that I am fully focused on the club. "However, the article includes comments that are neither accurate nor reflective of what I actually said. I deeply regret the unprofessional conduct displayed in this situation and respectfully request a retraction of the quotes falsely attributed to me." Join our new WhatsApp community!
