Chile Key Economists Team Up With Presidential Contender Toha
A group of distinguished economists is supporting the bid of Chilean center-left presidential candidate Carolina Toha, who is lagging in polls.
The group backing the former interior minister includes former central bank officials and finance and economy ministers. It includes big names such as Andres Velasco, Nicolas Eyzaguirre, Pablo Garcia and Roberto Zahler, Toha said Sunday.
