Honolulu gets its first indoor, air-conditioned pickleball courts
HONOLULU (KHON2) — The city's first air-conditioned indoor pickleball and social club opened to the public on Jan. 20, with the club boasting its unique blend of pickleball and social at Forté currently features state-of-the-art pickleball courts and will soon also include 25,000 square feet of restaurants and shopping establishments, complete with 450 parking spots for visitors.

Membership starts at $100 per month, and everyone who becomes an auto-renewing member in January will receive a free membership through Feb. 20.
Membership will include free daily open play, two hours of free parking, access to lockers, Wi-Fi, water stations and more.
'Pickles at Forté is a first-of-its-kind space for Downtown Honolulu,' said Andrew Yani, Pickles Forté chief operating officer. 'We're bringing people together for fitness, fun and community in a way that reflects the energy and inclusivity of pickleball. This is about creating an experience that elevates the area and engages everyone.'
The court will throw a grand opening celebration on Jan. 30 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. that will feature free open play, giveaways and tours of the facility. There will also be a 'Pros vs. Joes' game and a professional exhibition match.
