Shooting sends bullets into child's bedroom; 40-year-old injured

A shooting hurt a 40-year-old and sent bullets into a home Sunday. [DOWNLOAD: Free WHIO-TV News app for alerts as news breaks] As News Center 7 previously reported, around 1:10 a.m., crews were dispatched to the 2300 block of Parkland Ave on reports of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found a 40-year-old man shot in the hand, according to Sgt. Andrew Zecchini with Dayton police. A 42-year-old man was hurt after a shooting in Dayton Wednesday. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Sgt. Andrew Zecchini with Dayton police. Officers found a scene in the 3100 block of East First Street.
