Photos: Messy system creates delays in parts of Ontario
Residents in parts of Ontario woke up to ice and snow Thursday, with forecasters looking ahead to a bigger storm this weekend.
Some school buses were closed, and traffic was slow-moving during the morning commute, thanks to the fast-moving, albeit messy, system.
The slippery conditions have prompted advisories in some communities, warning of the potential of hard-to-detect ice building up on surfaces, potentially making walking and commuting dangerous.
Here's a look at the situation Thursday morning, in photos.
