Anna Raajan joins Rajinikanth's Jailer 2
Malayalam actor Anna Raajan, best known for her breakthrough role in Lijo Jose Pellissery's Angamaly Diaries (2017), is part of the upcoming big-ticket Tamil film, Jailer 2. This project will mark Anna's Tamil debut, and she took to social media to share her excitement. "It was a moment of great fulfillment when I had the opportunity to meet the esteemed superstar and legendary actor, Rajinikanth sir," wrote Anna, adding, "I feel truly fortunate to have the opportunity to work with him in Jailer 2." Jailer 2's shoot is currently underway in Kozhikode, Kerala. Earlier, the team shot for around 20 days in Palakkad, around Sholayoor Gonjiyoor, and Anakatti. Jailer 2, the sequel to the 2023-released blockbuster, has Nelson back in the director's chair. Rajinikanth is set to reprise his role as 'Tiger' Muthuvel Pandian, and will be joined by Ramya Krishnan, who played his wife in the first part. While there are speculations that actors Shivarajkumar, Mohanlal, and Jackie Shroff, who appeared in powerful cameos in Jailer are returning for Jailer 2, there have been no official announcements about the same. Interestingly, the stellar ensemble is expected to get more star-studded in the sequel, with names like Nandamuri Balakrishna, and Suraj Venjaramoodu, speculated to be part of the cast. Backed by Kalanithi Maran's Sun Pictures, Jailer 2 will have music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Vijay Kartik Kannan and editing by R Nirmal.

Dulquer Salmaan's ‘I Am Game' begins shoot with grand pooja ceremony
The highly anticipated Malayalam film I Am Game, starring Dulquer Salmaan, officially began shooting with a traditional pooja ceremony held in Thiruvananthapuram. The film is being helmed by RDX director NahasHidayath and marks a milestone as Dulquer's 40th film. Produced under Dulquer's own banner, Wayfarer Films, the launch event was attended by key cast members, including Angamaly Diaries fame Antony Varghese and popular Tamil filmmaker-actor Mysskin. Making headlines is Mysskin's debut in Malayalam cinema, where he is set to play a pivotal role. The screenplay is crafted by Sajeer Baba, Ismail Abubacker, and Bilal Moidu, while the dialogues have been penned by Aadharsh Sukumaran and Shahabas Rasheed. With such a strong creative team, expectations are soaring for the project. The first schedule is currently in progress in Thiruvananthapuram. Touted as Dulquer's most ambitious Malayalam project to date, I Am Game promises a high-budget cinematic experience complete with an ensemble cast and intense action sequences. The film's title poster, unveiled recently, has already created a buzz online with its striking design and unique theme. First look of Moonwalk unveiled
The first look of Moonwalk , presented by acclaimed director Based on true events, Moonwalk follows the story of a bunch of youngsters from a small town in Kerala during the late 80s, who inspired by the Michael Jackson mania, try to emulate his style and learn break dancing. As per the makers, the film, starring over a hundred new faces, will "transport you to the vibrant late 80s—when breakdance fever and the Michael Jackson craze swept across a generation." The film is jointly scripted by Vinod, Mathew Varghis, and Sunil Gopalakrishnan. Moonwalk has cinematography by Ansar Shah, music by Prashant Pillai, and editing by Deepu Joseph and Kiran Das.
