Out of over 580 entries, 18 outstanding stories were chosen which embodied critical themes such as water conservation, urban pollution, rising temperatures, and the plight of the planet through the perspective of animals.
The schools that were recognised included KGBVs in Muradnagar, Ghaziabad (1st); Gaura, Kanpur Dehat (2nd); Muftiganj, Jaunpur (3rd); and Dewa, Barabanki (4th).
This initiative aimed to instil critical thinking and creative expression in students, allowing them to articulate pressing environmental issues, a govt spokesperson said.
